Went to Temple Square for Family Home Evening this week. The lights were so beautiful and the Nativities were lovely and it was just nice to be near the Temple even if we haven't made it inside much the past few months. In light of Friday's tragedy in Connecticut and with my dad just arriving home from Afghanistan I am feeling especially grateful for the people I love and for the joy and peace of the gospel and the Savior's ability to succor us.
