For Mother's Day we made a trip to Elko to celebrate with my wonderful Mother. It was a quick trip from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, but one of our best ones there in a while because both kids slept relatively well (it is always great to see family, but in the past Miles has had a way of putting a damper on the fun while traveling by waking up all night and being grouchy all day). In general Tommy is a good sleeper (he is already starting to wake up only once at night!) and Miles slept better than ever having a "camp-out" in a tent in the basement with Grandpa. Cami, Sean, and baby Eli also joined us for the weekend and we all had a great time, mostly spent feeding babies, cooking, eating and talking. We also were able to Skype with Amy on Sunday. It was so fun to see her face (she looks fabulous!) and hear more about the mission. Her mission is undergoing some changes with the anticipation of having many more missionaries there and as part of that Amy has been called to a new leadership role to oversee the Sisters serving there. I am so so proud of her! They could not have called anyone better for the position I'm sure. Anyway, overall a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
