It has been HOT as of late here, so a couple of Sundays ago we decided to escape the heat by heading up to Silver Lake, which is about as high up in the mountains near Salt Lake as you can go without four wheel drive. We walked around the lake and Miles stopped to inspect every flower, rock, bug, and stick.
I was thrilled when we saw these moose. Miles didn't find them any more exciting than the minnows, squirrel, or ducks we saw.
Of course there was silly dancing along the way.
And this smile! Even the babe was thrilled to escape the heat.
