Snow Canyon Camping Trip

We recently had a very fun adventure to Snow Canyon where we camped with both boys for the first time ever! Let me just say these boys are natural outdoors-men. They hiked like mountain men and enthusiastically slept on the ground in the tent (I'll admit that I didn't get the most sleep I'd ever had that night, but it was actually far better than I expected.)

We did serious digging in a giant "sand box" with a phenomenal back-drop.

We explored cool rock formations.

We admired local vegetation

and followed animal tracks through the sand.

We checked out historical pioneer graffiti on the canyon wall,

Put our feet up and relaxed at camp,

And hiked, and hiked, and hiked!

I am so grateful for my little outdoor enthusiast side-kicks. I often find that day-to-day I struggle to be "present" in my own life and am preoccupied with my daily to-do list and the minutia of life, but when I'm out in nature that all goes away. I am so utterly happy to be exploring the wild world that my mind is filled with contentment and relishing of that exact moment to the point the usual distractions fade to nothing. Needless to say, we will be camping again!
