Yes, we do celebrate Halloween...

Although you wouldn't know it by the lag time it took to get this post up.  For Halloween this year, we didn't have much going on, so Benjamin and I just went as Mr. & Mrs. Onofrio (i.e. we didn't dress up). Miles did have a cute little tiger costume his Grampa and Gramma J. got him, so of course we had to find something for him to do that he could dress up. (He's still not really old enough to enjoy going door-to-door, and I wouldn't let him have a bunch of candy anyway.) At first we attempted to go to the "Boo at the Zoo" where there is trick or treating set up throughout Hogle zoo, but when we couldn't find parking closer than a mile away (I'm not exaggerating) and saw there were 50+ people in line in front waiting to buy tickets in addition to the hordes insides, we decided to scratch that idea. Luckily downtown at the Gallivan Center there was a "monster" community block party going on, so we took Miles there. He was too little to do most of the fun activities they had set up for kids, but he still seemed to enjoy walking around and looking at everything (yes, he walked alone!)
